Practitioners of the Indian Ayurveda medicine system have been preparing neem in oral doses for malarial patients for centuries. In Nigeria and Haiti, for example, neem-leaf teas are believed to treat malaria. Whether this works or not, I would caution you against ingesting a homemade neem extract concoction. First, because medicine has to be taken at a required dose, and two, neem has been shown to have some adverse side effects.
My advice would be that one gets tested first in a clinical facility to ascertain that you indeed are infected with malaria and not any other infections with similar signs and symptoms such as dengue or chikungunya fevers. Moreover, it is important to ingest medicine that has been well researched on and approved and which has been prescribed by your doctor.

For all illnesses including malaria , it is advisable to take medicine that has been tested and licensed . Since we do not currently have knowledge on the right dose and concentration of neem extract to take it is not advisable to take it .
