Thanks for this philosophical and very imaginative question.
Life has been known to exist in extreme environments. As earthlings, we need proper gases (e.g. Oxygen for humans, Nitrogen for some bacteria) and a source of energy (the food we eat). If these conditions work for us, then surely, given that our earth is made up of similar elements that constitute other stars or extraterrestrial bodies, life (even if in a very primordial form) would be possible elsewhere.
