First of an interest in science is important. In school you need to pick biology, chemistry and/or physics depending on which arm of science you want to pursue. After the national exams there are a wide range of courses in the university that you can choose from. Active reading is also important in this field to be able to keep up with the latest research and then know what questions you would like to answer with your research.
