      As you treating them as a civilian or a doctor? If a civilian, from my limited medical knowledge, you are not supposed to remove the object at the scene of the accident as this could worsen the condition and cause internal bleeding. The best action will be to call for an ambulance and wait for them to give proper care to the person.
